two more days from now will make it two months since my first dose of ocrevus. Time sure does go by quickly. I heard it may take four to five months before I start seeing a difference with the medication.

Just waiting
I think it depends on each individual, and how bad the ms was before you started it. Hope you have an improvement. Blessings Jimeka ๐ฆ
True! Also, thank you so much for replying and your hopes
I guess my MS is pretty bad when you have to lift your leg to get to the next step. That's probably why it's taking so long to see improvements. I also have to lift my leg up getting in the car and out of the car.
I have read that Ocrevus doesnโt offer a cure, it just halts progression, so I guess you are not supposed to get any worse. My ms nurse has just put my name forward for Ocrevus as it has just been passed in the U.K. for PPMS. ๐
I thought I had read that news somewhere, thank you for confirming it. I can now encourage my friend to see her neuro.
I was hoping to gain back some things I have lost,I don't think I have but that doesn't mean you won't,but no new lesions and I am satisfied with that for now
My neurologist told me not to expect any positive results (if any) from Ocrevus until after the first full dose. Thankfully, I did start to notice a difference after a year. Hope that to see some positive results soon.
positiveness, I have to lift my leg with my hands to get in and out of the car as well.
Please read my post on Ocrevus and replies (especially that of greater exp) here:
Good luck with the new medication.
positiveness I am on Ocrevus, and I have seen improvements in my balance and gait. I also have noticed better mental clarity. This is what I have noticed thus far. I was told that positive benefits might not be apparent until you are on Ocrevus for 1 1/2 to two years.
Everyone is unique in their experiences, so be patient, and

How long did it take for you to notice the improvements you listed?
Mental clarity was soon after my first dose. I credit that to getting off of previous DMT. My balance and gait improvements were noted at my neuro visit, after my second dose. I continue to see better balance and gait. Now, I still cannot run or walk unassisted. I have no disease progression or new lesions, according to my neuro, but that was the case with my prior DMT's as well.
Slowing/stopping progression= time to heal with Ocrevus?
I think so. My neuro is pleased with my results with using Ocrevus. She measures my responses with walking. balance, coordination. The blood work to measure my b-cells is done prior to all infusions and they indicate that Ocrevus is doing its intended job. So, slowing/stopping progression with Ocrevus is a good thing.
Sorry I just saw your post, I had my 1st dose of Ocrevus in Dec I started noticing things within in a few days. I had a little more energy, my vision was better & I could do better in my coordination. Now I'm down to my last week & a half & waiting for the infusion. Mary
Nice to know. And do you still feel a positive difference within 6 months of waiting for your next infusion?
