I've been on Ocrevus for over two years and tolerating the infusion and pre/post mostly fine.
I had a dental checkup and cleaning two months ago and was told I'm doing very good brushing and flossing.
However, a couple weeks after infusions, I notice my gums are very sensitive when flossing. No bleeding, just tender. It lasts for a week or two and then disappears. I haven't been able to find much about this other than information regarding general mouth pain post infusion.
Has anybody else noticed these symptoms?

No I haven’t had any gum issues just muscle stiffness during the 2 week post infusion period. Sorry that’s happening. Your dentist may have a solution for you. I hope you are better soon. 🙏
Hi, SuniShun. I do not have gum pain after infusions. Sorry that's a problem for you. Come to think of it, I have zero side effects, except being awake all that night. But that's from the steroids. Graip had a good idea - check with your dentist. Hope you feel better!
I have gum & tooth pain but that’s because I grind & clench my teeth not because of Ocrevus (does it make it worse I don’t know). Also, since I’ve been diagnosed I have had extremely dry mouth, even though my dentist says he’s seen worse but it is some thing I need to keep on top of. Because it can lead to cavities which it has. I feel like I’m at the dentist all the time.
YES!!! I’m cleaning out my old mailboxes and just now came across your question from back in February! Gum/mouth pain terrible! Come to find out it was Trench Mouth! ANUG! (Acute Necrotizing Ulcerative Gingavitis) I am a stickler for practicing excellent oral hygiene…..so I couldn’t figure out why this happened to me, not once, but TWICE! Mouth was in extreme pain! I had a round of antibiotics with each bout, and some “magic mouthwash”, which helped numb and heal. So it’s the Ocreves! Hmmmm….makes sense, I guess!
