No need to be afraid just drink fluids and every one says bring a book. I just fell asleep, you may be different. You are being driven both ways because you will be tired. Just be ready to say awhile.

You will be fine.

I will tell you the first infusion my legs were weak after I had been home for about an hour. But then again my legs are weak anyway I walk with a walker.

But after my other does I was fine.

Just don’t get your self all worked up an nervous.

Good luck to you!

Someone gave a good tip the other day. Like ssdw1958 says, drink plenty and be well hydrated so it’s easier to find a vein. As Sandy says, relax, and tomorrow take it easy, it doesn’t work instantly, you will be fine, Blessings Jimeka πŸ‘

Hope all goes well for you. I have nothing bad to say about Ocrevus. It has been wonderful for me and wish you the same.🌈

Ocrevus is doing great for me as well. I treat myself to special snacks on infusion day and my husband runs out to get me lunch. I spend most of my time listening to a book or watching Netflix on my phone. Good luck.

It wasn’t scary for me, but it was boring. Boooring, hope for a nap. I caught up on some music, an audiobook, and did some guided meditation. I hated the steroids and Benadryl. I bring a snack and try to get it down before the pre-meds ruin my taste buds. I had a super fun headache after the first half infusion and felt kinda crappy for 3 days. There are a lot of posts now you can scroll though about it if you do a search.

It’s been a miracle drug for me so far!

I have had 4 Ocrevus treatments. All treatments went well but day after and next 3 were sometimes challenging.

I've had 4 infusions since I started ocrevus. I have experienced no M.S. relapses. When I had My first infusion I experienced slight breathing issues, but I took short breathes and tried to stay calm. I have experienced nothing in a negative manner since.

Horse714 Ocrevus has been good to me. The infusion always goes well for me and I have had 3 infusions so far. Let us know how your infusion went by posting of your experiences when you can. I did do a few posts regarding my Ocrevus infusion experiences and I know a few others on the forum have done so as well.

Keep Smiling,

Carole :-D

thank you I’ve been a nervous wreck about having them. I have had one so far and it went well. I’m very concerned about the cancer risk it frightens me.

Me as well. I researched it as much as I could and took the advice of my neurologist. :-D

She told me of the results of the trials, and probably answered all of the questions that I had. I don't recall the exact questions, but I do remember that they were answered to my satisfaction. Hope that this helps.

It is really mild infusion. They start you out with Tylenol and Benadryl to ease side effects. You may get a metal taste in your mouth so take a mint.

The worst is the length of time it takes so take something to keep you occupied. I can usually can get in 2 movies.
