Bloodymindedness

An Australian term, very loosely meaning a combination of what the hell, I am going to do this, so what I am going to do this no matter what anybody says, well that failed but I am going to do it again until I get it, what the hell, who cares I can win.

There I am sure more but in Americanism, perhaps grit determination.

In English maybe stiff upper lip.

hmm, there are strong words out there, why not find some for yourself and make them part of your daily vocabulary.

I do believe that bloodymindedness suits me. What about "YOU"

Oh, okay. Every once and a while, I set off a flame of colorful language that would make a sailor blush, but hey, that is just me. I try to not let anyone under the age of 80 hear me, but it is hard to do when I yell these obscenities! I also look like the Tasmanian devil when I really get into it! I think that I might have a wee bit of "Australian" blood in me! Ancestry.com didn't call it out though! So, you're safe! :-D

I think it may be best to vent your frustration once in a while, better out than in so they say.

Yep, and that advice also works for flatulence and belching! :-D

Lol! That attitude gets things done though! (in my unchangeable opinion)

You're right, and if I remember, I did things many times, with that attitude, before it was done 'right'! If you know what I mean (IYKWIM) :-D

My Mantra has always been "Never Give Up!" Just a few explanations and more than any of you would want to know, 7 pregnancies, 2 children. 3 non-fault car crashes with major vehicle damages. Back surgery. Side-swiped by a van while bicycle riding, 7 cracked ribs, left wrist has 2 plates, 7 screws in it. Bicycling, hit from behind by another cyclist, broken hip. 4 arthroscopic knee surgeries, (2 each knee) 1 knee replacement, then had lower back fused. Started bicycling on a 3-speed Schwinn after the last pregnancy and never looked back or gave up! Eventually, had a carbon fibre custom bicycle made. After any of the events above, I was always back onto the bicycle as soon as possible. Never Giving Up! I rode 40 miles the morning I went numb and was averaging 250-300 miles a week. That was the last time I rode. I didn't give up! I prayed with my Pastor and gave it to God! I am good with that! 👍😊💕🙏🚴‍♀️

You are the definition of never giving up! I will certainly think of you when I am thinking of throwing in the towel next time. Thank you for inspiring me. :-D

I can give off the barrage of obscenities too, but try not to do that.
