Waking up with last night’s worries.

This morning I woke up with my stomach gnawing. I hate when that happens. Last night before bed, I went to put clothes in The washer and it was still full of water from a previous load. Uh-oh. So I restarted it and it drained fine. I stayed up later and put in another load and went to bed. Funny how the first thing I thought about when I opened my eye was about the laundry. Did the washer work? Did I remember to put the detergent In? Yes to both questions. On with my day. I figured I would share something ordinary unrelated to my health worries that are always in the background. Just writing this makes me feel better. Looking forward to meeting friends for coffee later.

I enjoy when I can think about other things. I think it makes my day go a little smoother because I’m not stressed about anything at the moment

It’s really refreshing to take “mental hygiene” breaks from thoughts of MS, whether it’s a minute or a day. I used that term when I homeschooled, but find it’s appropiate in many situations.

Enjoy your coffee and enjor your friends!

I find that it is refreshing to do extraordinary things every once and a while, like going out with friends, going out for a walk/hike, etc. Clears the cobwebs in your head!

Keep Smiling,

That's one reason I read a lot to keep my mind off my troubles. I don't have to worry about did I finish that last load of laundry as I have a hose that runs out the kitchen door so I have to stay with the laundry until it's finished.
