Just got finished watching the revised more recent version of the classic; Steel Magnolias with an all star case including Phylicia Rashad, Alfre Woodard, Queen Latifaf and Jill Scott. Yes, you will need your tissues at the end, but moving story of love, family and friends. Opps, how did I neglect that Phylicia Rashad's daughter is outstanding portrayed as Shelby. I won't spoil it for those of you who haven't seen it, but I love the reflections at the end "30 minutes of something wonderful is better than a lifetime of nothing at all." Learning to enjoy life family 30 minutes without pain and be thankful; what a perspective. Today I needed a little 30 minutes, went to church rejoiced/sang my blues away and ignored the little pain in my healing post surgery leg. Now I gonna be okay
Blessings

I haven't seen the movie remake yet. But Saturday I did a "girls night out" with a few people that I play trivia night with on Wednesdays, to see a live play at the Dock Street Theater for Steel Magnolias. They were just local Charleston actresses but they did a really good job of it. At one point one of the actresses had a problem saying one of the lines. The line was supposed to say that he was shooting to scare the birds out of the trees. What she said instead was that he shooting to scare the trees out of the birds. Everyone started laughing. She tried a few times to get the line out of her mouth right but was having a hard time of it for all the laughing both on stage and off, including her own. She gave up and moved on. Through my laughter all I could think was welcome to my world. I say words in the wrong order all...the...time. It's frustrating.
Just the mental picture picture of trees being scared out of birds just cracks me up all over again.😂🤣😂🤣😂
Right, like when I reviewed my post and realized after sending it; teary eyed and injection day (copaxone )- cast members vs. case lol. It's happens in the words of Forrest Grump.
