Sounds like I'd like her style. Again, another nasty thing to deal with, NMO, sounds like "M.S. on steroids", but at least it never progresses. (Always look for the good part of what you're suffering with. I learned to do so from day 1 at diagnosis day for me in the hospital, decades ago.) Don't know if I could stand up to her in a boxing ring though, as I got the impression that M.S. relapses are wimpy compared to those of NMO? If she's a fighter, sounds like it, then Jes, look at this as your training to be an even better fighter. Please Jes, try the food thing! Reset your body fighting yourself. No doc has ever prescribed food to fight, but my Neuro let gave me the idea and let me run with it. It has, essentially put him out of my business. I see him out of respect, and gratitude, and he now uses me as a success story I'm told by others with M.S. who now see him. You're mother probably told you,...you are what you eat. Well, mine didn't, but my Neuro did, indirectly. It is right! I'm not accumulated symptom free, but if I could shave off even a few,...like the accumulated losses of optic neuritis 7x for me, gone 100% by the "lake wave pattern looking into the sun" which I gauged it by for years, oh wait, maybe I didn't improve, I just became blind? That was bad! No I didn't become blind. Nor should you....like my motto, Keep Up The Fight! Fight it with what you put into your mouth, morning, noon, and night!
Fancy1959. Hang in there gal. You too. You can take lesson from Jes regarding the mental, that I've nailed, yeah I'm crazy?, but please, do the best you can do for yourself by eating right. You have to really, really, want to do so, to commit to it enough. Anyone can, it's just enough will power. Let your doc's do their things. (found a traveler come back to the 21st with nano bots yet? to resolve your liver thing yet?) If I run into one......I will definitely send him/her your way! Till then, keep on fighting! Diseases, not people!
