Wow, this year's rainy season has been extra cold and heavy rains and winds. Both hips and my left knee, lower back have been extremely painful. So bad a couple of times, I dug into the Vicodin supply.. How does the weather affect you?

My wife has Chron’s and arthritis and the weather is really killing her🤬. Mine is also a little worse right now but I think it’s MS acting up 🤬. Take care and hope it gets better soon 👍🙏😊 Ken 🐾🐾

I hope you are both feeling better very soon😊💐

Did I mention I want Vicodin!! Lol 😆😜

Wish I had Vicodin! YES! I have issues, and suspect the barometric pressure somehow can affect those living with autoimmune disorders!

The only reason I have it is because I had a total knee replacement a few years ago an the doc gave me 3 handwritten scripts way before the surgery and told me to get them filled 2 weeks apart before the surgery. Fortunately, I didn't need them all at the time and saved them.

Yes the cold affects me. I'm unable to bend my legs and the wind is able to knock me over because my balance isn't there

Heavy rain makes me ache all over. Before it rains, when the weather is changing, I get horrible headaches. Springtime is not my friend.

I haven’t thought of that, maybe that’s why I am having headache 🤕? Ken 🐾🐾

Kenu I was just reading an article about headaches being one of the lesser known symptoms of MS. Wish I could recall where, I'd post the link.😊

No headaches for me, just horrible aches and pains.

CalfeeChick Okay, here's the scoop: age, limited mobility for 6 months now, osteoarthritis in all the major and over used joints, cold and damp weather: some days it is hard to move. Even a little bit. And the pain is always there at the awareness level. I try not to thinj about it, but I am like some creature made out of tin, every joint needing a squirt of WD 40 or rust solvent in order to start moving.

goatgal I heard somewhere along the line that rubbing WD40 into sore joints can help them. I got started using Eucerin Calming cream when I had a knee replacement. I've had very aggressive osteoarthritis since I was 38 yrs old(I'm close to 71 now) I now take Celebrex and just try to keep moving! I've had 2 back surgeries because of OA.

Absolutely! The changes in barometric pressure effect those of us with chronic pain conditions. Of course the cold weather is brutal. I feel much better when it’s warm.

yes its miserable. do you take anything for the arthritis. the mix of arthritis and MS is throwing me quite a bit.

just read your note to goat gal. saw that you use celebrex and eucerin calming cream

I guess I’m an odd one. The osteoarthritis I have doesn’t seem to be affected by cold or rain. Good thing since I live near Seattle and this area’s reputation for grey rainy days is well deserved!

vicodin isnt the answer,i take boswellia, devils claw extract, tumeric, and other supplements and my arthritis is fine.i also take gelatin for the joints.
