Hip pain-really hurts!!

I sent a message to my physical medicine physician, but I’d love to get your thoughts as well!

It’s getting worse, not resolving! The pain is sharp, strongest in the hip joint. It then radiates down the front of my entire leg. Standing is ok for a second the it’s excruciating, and I have to sit down Any wight or elongating my leg makes it hurt more. Could this be neurological and MS related? Is this spasticity? Yikes!

I do have a bulging disc at L4 I think so I wonder if it’s back related.

I know this is a lot of info and you’re not doctors!

But thank you!!!😁

I have two herniated disks, bulged disk, and four bone spurs. My pain in my legs from my back are in the rear of my legs. Then they pain that I have in the front is more deep pain, pins and needles, but aching is my MS. It’s taken time to figure out which is which, but I have had twenty four years to figure it out 👍. Good luck 🙏😉 Ken 🐾🐾

Not knowing your age, or med. history.. Is it possible you've an arthritic condition developing? I'm dealing with a sore left hip and have have 2 steroid injections since last September. Ex-rays show show Calcium deposits, (my PCP upped my calcium to

1800 MG 18 months ago because my bone density was Low) but it's very painful and feels much like what you've described. Pain radiates from hip down my leg at night and I have to sleep with my knees raised. Sometimes if I step on it wrong, I will get a sharp stabbing pain. Hope you get some relief soon.

I would check with your doctor, see if you can have an X-ray or a mri, at least then you can determine if it is the ms or not. Until then, heat pads, hot water bottles, pain killers, and if you know what irritates it, don’t do it. Let us know how you get on, Blessings Jimeka 🤗

Thanks to all for the replies and well-wishes. With pain, I have the patience of a gnat, and no tolerance for the long haul! I think arthritis, SI disease and bursitis were dx by the MRI! It seems they “drained” the joint at the last injection. (Disgusting, Sorry!) Funny, they mention none of this at the appointment, which is why I read doctor’s reports after!

I always want a quick-fix, but as we

well know, MS does not afford

such a luxury!!

Thanks again to all; I’ll give the

Physician update soon.❤️😬😁

I have a bulging disc and have the same horrific pain in my hip and radiating down my leg. I would bet it's your back causing you problems.
