I've researched this a bit and there are some discussions out there about making the water your drink has a non-acidic PH.
The taste of my tap water has changed recently. After checking with the water company nothing changed. It must be my taste buds as my husband swears that it's the same too. But it's time for me to invest in a good water filtering as I find myself not drinking as much as I should.
Recommendations are welcome!

Dr. Weil recommended a distiller as opposed to a filter in one of his shows. We bought Megahome Countertop Water Distiller Stainless, Glass Collection for $239 on Amazon years ago and are very happy with it. We used to spend a ton of money on bottled water - no more! A distiller kills everything in the water, and there are a lot of bad substances a filter cannot kill. Dr. Weil also said that any vitamins or supplements that you need should not be expected to come from drinking water.
Here are some articles by Dr. Weil about water (and you can find more by googling):
We have a water softener and reverse osmosis with a filter that replaces some minerals, so it tastes like Fiji water to me 🎉
Before that, I used zero water and before that I used seychelle. Both pitchers and filters are on amazon, I believe. I had a small one to use at work also because their water was gross.
