I wrote this one night in my sleep and didn't know until I found a paper on my desk

Young Spirit- Weary Heart

Inside he’s just a little boy with dreams and aspirations. Believing that all things are possible…

This child is now a man, a man full of knowledge from trials, lies and pain.The pain and lies have led his dreams into a dark filled room. The dreams are the same, they never changed, dreams of peace, laughter, love, and sunshine on his face.

Still there, just hidden, protected, sheltered from the hard cruel world that wants to balk at them, hurt them, and take them away. His inner child is waiting, waiting to trust, waiting for someone to prove him wrong. Waiting for un-abandoned honesty from someone he can show his cherished dreams to, without fear. Under lock and key, kept safe, they are owned by no other, but yet hunger to be shared.

Faith has never been shoved away, the faith is strong in this young mind, Faith, knowing, and praying, that one day. One day the trust will come when least expected, and the dreams with be in the light. They will be glowing like the smile on his face during that day of new life.
