It’s even worse when it’s your child:(

This is a pic of my daughter. She was married 6/16/18. She was totally healthy on her wedding day- or so it appeared. She exercises daily and eats very healthy! Since then, she has only been able to work 1 day. She spent one full week in the hospital. Her docs have run multiple test on her, including a brain MRI. B/C of me and my family’s history with autoimmune diseases and her symptoms, they are now looking closely at Lupus. She is absolutely shocked that she could go from being a healthy 27 year old to what she now experiences on a daily basis in just 6 weeks. My question- has anyone or their family members ever experienced anything like this?? I’m so stressed and am sick over all this. It’s worse watching her and the new hubby going through all this then when I was living it!

I feel so bad for her and you too. It can’t be easy to watch that happen to someone you love. My thoughts are with you.

I hope she has a good group of doctors to help.

I was her age when my vision went blurry suddenly from stress. That sent me on my journey to an ophthalmologist, MRI, and ms testing. I am so very sorry your family is going through this. Maybe the stress of planning the wedding made her disease come to the surface :( I know Lupis is one of the diseases they test for when they run the different tests to find out what is going on.

Please keep us updated on how your daughter is doing,

Jessie

I’m sorry for your daughter, her husband, and your whole family. I understand your feelings, as my daughter is facing some unknown illness, and I wish I could take it for her.

Your support will be so important to her and her husband, which you can give in a more meaningful way since you truly understand.

You’re all in my prayers. Keep us posted please.

I’m so sorry you’re living through this too! I’m hoping the knowing will come soon and be better than the not knowing.

It's hard to hear any negative diagnosis, but it's so tough not knowing what you're dealing with. When you can have the diagnosis, you can map out the battle plan more easily.

Prayers are with you and your family 🙏. I went to bed twenty five years ago and woke blind in my right eye 👁. Then to make it short, tests at U of Utah and was diagnosed with Ms. It happens so quick 🤷🏼‍♂️. I continue to work for twenty three years and then Cancer hit and I was done working 😢. Stay positive and don’t let it control your life 👍🙏🐾😉. Ken

Oh Juleigh, my heart goes out to you. I do not know why our children have to go through all this, it’s enough us having ms. I know how you are feeling as I have just been through it with my son. Maybe it was all the stress and excitement of the wedding that’s made it come to the surface. Please keep us updated, try not to get too stressed as your daughter will need you. Blessings Jimeka 🦋 🤗

What a lovely bride! 😍 I read somewhere that major life stresses, negative or positive, take a few weeks to make an autoimmune disease erupt. I hope you have your answer soon and everyone can move on from whatever this is. It wasn’t my first flirt with MS, but, yes, I went to work one day with a headache and was being wheeled into the ER 3 hours later.

Lots of love to you and your family.

My MS hit me out of the blue, fine one day and the next day I lost my speech and was paralyzed. No warning whatsoever. My prayers go out to your daughter and your family. It's not fair at all!

What a lovely young woman! I hope that incredible smile can still come out periodically even going through the trials. Being newly married AND being sick! Truly the good and the bad. I hope they figure this out SOON and they can continue their lives together, happily.

I can't even begin to know what you're feeling, so my thoughts and prayers are with you for her. Sometimes life just sucks

Juleigh21, I'm very sorry for the sad news about your pretty daughter! This type of thing happens to the best people and at the worst time, not that any time is a good time for a disease but 27? Right after marriage. I'm sorry for her and the whole family!!!🤗🤗
