The power of 20 seconds

A day is 24 hours, 1440minutes, 86400 seconds. A bloody long time. Try to get through a whole day is challenging at times. 5 minutes is only 300 seconds. I can hold my breath 20 seconds, maybe I can add them all together and make it 5 minutes.

Okay, I can make a bunch of 5 minutes an hour. Then only 24 of those then a day. I can do 20 seconds, gee I can with practice last that whole day.

hmm, where can I go from there 7 days a week, 28 days a short month, only 12 months a trip around the sun. This I can do all I need is that first 20 seconds then a breath.

I CAN DO THIS its just 20 seconds, that's all. Just 20 seconds again and gain. I CAN, I WILL, I DO, its just 20 seconds.

Hey RoyceNewton,

Nice post! It made me think that we all have 20 seconds and we all choose to do what ever with those 20 seconds. And when we put our minds to it, we can do it, bit by bit, we can achieve what ever we set out efforts to!

So, thank you for this post and reminder.

Carole :-)

I think you are in my mind sometimes! When my children were going through something I would always tell them to get through just 5 minutes, and once they did that, then 5 minutes more.

Now I use the same 5 minutes for me.

Royce, your posts are always something intelligent and I enjoy every one of them. Thank you for getting my mind going!
