Packing my bags.

Hello, msERS. Think of his journey as a very long country trip. Your very own nf ms life journey. Gather around YOU the resources that YOU may need along the way, the Disease Modifying Therapy, the protective underwear, the healthier diet. This in 2018 is a very DOABLE illness for those of us with relapsing-remitting ms. All YOU have to do is position yourself and allow YOU to DO it.

It is at times, scary, painful and humiliating, but if YOU know these things, prepare for these things. They will not surprise YOU when they happen. Preparation and preplanning, coupled with your skills in bending like Bamboo will always be your friend.

Our illness is a sneaky tricksy chap. It has a lot of places where it can cause mischief. Prepare yourself as best you can. Follow suggestions that appeal to YOU. Ignore those that do not.

Build yourself the strongest possible carry bag of essentials that YOU can. Take whatever time YOU NEED or WANT. My friend, this is your journey, your life. YOU wake up at 3 am in the dark of night with that fear, that questioning, that pain. YOU, my friend, not me not anybody else. Do YOU not think that the 3 am YOU deserves every little bit of help that YOU can give it. Be strong\bendable\honest, even brave that 3 am YOU appreciates it, I am sure.

Give it the knowledge that YOU are playing on a really complicated game board, that YOU are doing all that YOU can to give yourself every little advantage that YOU can. DMT's, memories of past victories, Healthy diet, emotional and physical support. These are but a FEW. Over your years along this journey, YOU will find many more, but YOU must build a strong foundation, pack your carry bag with good helpful tools for your journey, You never know when YOU might need them.

This IS a DOABLE illness, all it takes, is for YOU to be willing to start DOING. Accept help when it is offered, ask for it when you need it. Be very careful who YOU turn away and who YOU ask for help, sometimes YOU will be tricked, relax from what I understand this happens to many of us. Learn from it. Rest assured ms is not the only trickster out there.

Most importantly, forgive yourself. Cry when YOU need to, kick or hit the wall. Just never give up and remember that this to shall pass. With a little planning and desire, YOU, my friend. CAN WILL and YOU DO this illness and when a real treatment is found, YOU will be standing in line saying" HEY LOOK at ME"

Remember it is especially tricksy with your emotions. Be prepared, YOU may not catch everything but the fewer sideways unexpected detours are always better. LEARN your ms.

WOW, You really know the true MS it doesn’t hide from you at all dose it. Nor does it hide from me but you really put it out there so that all can see.

I do like how you did it, it was like going on a trip but it’s every day, is a trip. Because we never really know where we are going day to day.

Thank you 😊 it’s nice to know we are all going on this trip with or without everyone being on the same mode of transportation.

It is nice to know that I’m really never alone.

When I leave tomorrow I’ll keep a seat open for you.

Bye 👋 for now. Besafe !!!

Royce, I love your message except for one thing. "This too shall pass." Not necessarily.

When you would like to just pull the stop chain and get off. If You ever feel YOU would like to just get back on.

The darkness and despair that we first felt, will pass. Not the illness YET but there is light in this tunnel.

That was very well said! I, also, refuse to just sit here and take it! I will be a part of society. I will only do what I can while thanking God for every drop of assistance! I appreciate it! Thank you, God! It could always be worse! New flash, folks...WE ARE NOT DYING OF MS!! 🤸🏾‍♀️💃🏾!!! Keep fighting the good fight!!
