Not what I would wish on even my ex-wife and I truly do not wish any good for her.
The only thing that worked for me was CyberKnife surgery. I believe that they have a number of facilities nationwide. If you can afford it travel and get them to help you, actually if you can't afford it travel anyway it REALLY is worth the effort. No pain no scar just some valium to keep you still then some starbucks to celebrate. Very easy just get in done if you can.

I have had 3 procedures done for my TN. I am on so much medicine and when I try to get off any of it the shocks start coming back. What/how does this surgery work?
I had the gamma knife procedure done here in Denver by Dr. John Prall. It involved having a MRI first. Then a plastic ball shaped helmet with a number of small holes through it. Then laid on a bed and had rays shot thru helmet to numb part of my trigeminal nerve.
It was only day surgery.
I had only a few more shots of pain over a couple of days.
It has now been over a year without any pain.
I consider this a life saver. I had lost about 30 pounds and was in bed most of the time before this procedure.
I have gone from taking 3600 mg of gabapentin a day to 300.
The side l had this done on feels a little numb, but looks normal. No drooling.
