Checked in to a Hampton Inn and found out that they gave away my room to a Hilton Honors Diamond member. Put me in a regular room where the challenges were pretty insurmountable. No managers in hospitality work weekends so I got no resolve. Employees tried to make me feel better by offering me some snacks and drinks. Aaahhh, if only snacks and drinks were the cure

Are you serious that is so wrong I would call and write the manager and the corporate people and be ticked off. I say write so you have a hard copy. Let them know you made reservations and they gave the room away I don’t care if those other people could of been the president of the company that’s wrong. The should have given you for half price. If you were staying there more than one day I would have told them that they needed to find you another hotel that has handy cap. Sorry I get a little worked up when I hear what happened to you. I will have to make sure the next place I go to will not do that to me.
That was so wrong!!
My fiancé travels a lot for work and stays in tons of hotels. If there is something wrong he will call the head of the head of the bosses boss. Dont let them off lightly so it doesnt happen to anyone else
My experience with Hampton, they would not take my request for a handicap room, they told me 1st come 1st serve. They of course were not available, so of course their answer was, to put me on the 3rd floor next to the elevator, you could hear it all night long!
