when things fall apart by Pema Chodron

Things falling apart is a kind of testing and also a kind of healing... They come together and they fall apart. Then they come together again and fall apart again. It’s just like that. The healing comes from letting there be room for all of this to happen: room for grief, for relief, for misery, for joy. -Pema Chodron

This feels very real to me. Anybody relate?

💯 I wish I was more graceful with letting there be room for it.

I relate to you. I need a much bigger room. Grief and misery are using up all the oxygen and i don't find room for relief and joy. Yet. Pema gives me hope.

YES; I read that book years ago. I found her writings informative and calming in that it gave me a way to "reposition" my viewpoints.

I like what you're saying. I find her writing very hopeful. Can you talk more about how it is repositioning your viewpoint?

In her writings, she writes of "seeing things as broken" so that when it falls apart it's not so upsetting! 🤞
