Annoyed
No I am just sick & tired of the four walls at my house, just because I am disabled does not yet make me a house bound invalid, but thank you for your concern.
If someone can't say anything nice they shouldn't say anything. Shouldn't assume you're feeling better just because you have to get things done. I would be very annoyed myself. I totally understand where you're coming from.
Have a good day. Hope you feel better soon.
Just what you don’t want to hear they could say I’m glad to see you. No there are so many rude people in the world. I can’t stand it when someone finds out that I am retired and say you must love that and I say no I rather be working.
That shuts them up fast.
I feel your pain.
Oh and by the way, when you go out an about have a great day.
Then there's the.... well you look good! ... When I am having some of the worst days... It may be just trying to be polite or... They just can't see... I have slipped up a couple times and replied with "Either your lying, or your blind... So which is it"? When I'm hurting, and it's all I can do to keep from reverting to the fetal position in the middle of the floor, to hold my tongue. Espically when they happen to be here because I reached out and needed help. There never around when I'm doing ok, don't return calls or texts, are just to busy. They do respond when I leave an urgent message and that's all well and good but then ... it makes me feel as if I'm being accused of not really needing assistance and I am just to much trouble. Their assistance comes at to high a price, my dignity. I'm not a proud man any longer by any means, however I do have a little self worth left, don't strip that away as well. I know they can't comprehend but it has taken a circle of friends and stripped it down to solitude.
