Hi! I've been absent for a while. My husband has ALS and we've been on quite the roller coaster ride the past few months. Whew!
On another topic, I am thoroughly put out with Punx. Phil. I haven't had winter yet and he's calling for an early spring. The South Carolina version of spring and summer keep me shut up inside with the air conditioning when I'd rather be outside with my camera. Ah well, more time for cross stitching.
Does anyone else have difficulty with their vision due to MS? I never know if I'm going to be able to see clearly, from one day to the next. It's much worse when my office gets hot. My eye doc can't find anything wrong. Our lovely IT guy brought me a large computer monitor so I can keep the screen enlarged enough to see. My relapses always start with visual symptoms (double vision, eye pain).

We are a hot mess together, that's for sure! We are lucky enough to be able to laugh at diseases and make our families shake their heads. Art is in hospice now and keeps the nurses giggling. I will share pics as soon as I figure out how to load them.
what a challenge, you and hubby!sounds like you are keeping a sense of humor, that will keep you sane!I am not happy about phil either, didn't think about the heat yet,I was thinking that it hasn't been cold enough to kill the bugs,oh, the fire ants, flying roaches, spiders yikes!
Haven't had a relapse in 8 yrs. But I will say it brought on 28 degree double vision and enough pain in my right eye to look at screw drivers with bad intent. When I overheat, double vision comes back with about a 5 degree offset. Then I go inside, cool off, wake up the next morning and all.is good. The legs take a day or so to come back to the point of walking. Hang in there that punk rodent hardly has the skill to make a mess wherever and whenever it wants to!
You can have our snow cindyrn68 We had snow for the last couple of days (got about 2") and this evening we are supposed to be getting 2-3 inches. The UP, as of Feb 2, was working on clearing 18 FEET of snow!
I’ll take it! I used to live on the Tug Hill Plateau next to Lake Ontario and miss it like crazy. Of course, when the citizens of SC find out I’m responsible for the snowpocalypse my life expectancy will shorten dramatically! 😂
That was how my MS was diagnosed I had double vision up & down was returning to normal by the time he said probable MS. That was March in July I went numb shoulders down to bottoms of my feet. Optic neuritis. When it flairs it does hurt I take a washrag wet it then micro for 30 sec-1min lay down with it over my eyes. Some times it takes cool to feel better. Praying for you. Mary
My first symptom of MS was sudden blurred vision. Had to see an opthamologist who tried to tell me it was my antidepressant I had been taking for years. After a disagreement, he agreed to send me for an mri. Mri came back with lesions suspicious of MS. Off to the Neuro I went for further testing. MS it was after spinal tap. When I am tired, my vision will start to mess up on me and I know it's time to go to bed or take a nap.
