Jazzyinco , I feel for ya. Mine was awful as well. I felt like the red nosed guy in the old game operation. They had trouble getting my fluid and it took quite some time to get it done. I hope and pray I don't ever, ever have to do that again!

I did have another good day, I w as sore, but not tired! Fell asleep at a normal hour, up to see my first sunrise in a very, very long time.

I have never had to have one. Does anyone know how long it takes for the body to replace the 4 viles of spinal fluid? I hope you rested and laid down as much as you could. Blessings Jimeka 🦋 🍫 🌈 🤗

I had 1 done 5 years ago. The LP itself was fine but after 24 hours the dreaded post LP headache. I suffered for 5 days before they brought me back in for a blood patch. I swore I would never get it done again but they only diagnosed CIS at the time and symptoms are getting worse and worse so it has to be done. Waiting for the call to go back in. Hope you are feeling better today. X

Went through the same experience spine needed a patch. Headache was horrendous that was back in 1991 when I was diagnosed with the mean monster. Never had another spinal tap never want another. I'm thankful not everyone goes through the same.

I had one when I was diagnosed and it was horrible! Took forever and the headache and pucking after, not able to keep food down. 2 er visits later finally got me a blood patch. Will never get another one if I can help it.

I hear ya! They didn't even numb me!! After promising at least 10% lidocain, but no, this stupid, disorganized fake-hospital, med. Center!! Youch! The migrains stink & now my L. Leg is crampin limp!! Yukky!!💛❤i have been drinking alot of H20w/ enzyme aid _NOW products & emergenC powder to drink! Trying magnesium, calciym Vit. D3 supplimentation! Wrking a lil bit. 😍

I’ve had 2. One was awful. The second was totally different and not bad at all. Take it easy and drink a lot of water!

What was this? I thought it was a spinal tap as you get diagnosed.

That's how I got diagnosed in 1981 , before the MRI was invented.

I had to spend night in hospital flat on my back so I wouldn't get a migraine .

They knew the next day I had MS .
