I was thinking, (Yes, I do that occasionally🤔) that it would be nice and perhaps helpful to each other to start a thread about what we do each day to make our lives just a little bit easier or more comfortable. I'll start it with my favorite two:
1. I use my hair dryer first thing in the am to warm the inside of my slippers. Feels "Oh,😍 so good!" to slide my tootsies into warm slippers.
2. I slide my warm fuzzy slippers on top of my heating pad I keep over my feet while I am in bed. Such as they are right now, while I'm typing to you all.
Please share your helpful hints. I know that Fancy1959 has a couple of hints😊

I'm always cold so I have a heating blanket at home, my boyfriends house and at work. Since I have Raynaud's it feels sooo good when Im wrap up in my blankets, now that the air is running blizzard at work and my boyfriends, because of it getting hot outside. The heated blanket feels so welcoming. I love it.
Sescond I like to stretch my back and legs when I'm in the shower because the warm/hot water helps loosing my muscles. I do better in the heat than the cold.
Like you I do better in the heat but I did find out Saturday that getting overheated isn’t very good. But it just feels so good to be warm after being wrapped in a blanket all winter I guess I forget. But the concretes still hard when you fall.😊😆

I can relate to your post, I'm always Cold especially my feet. I wake up and My 2 Toy Yorkies sleep with me, so I always say Good Morning Girls and they Strech, look at me and wait for me to get them as always I have to Rub their Bellies, I take them outside &they hurry back in for their Good Girl Bone, then I clean their dishes-give them water and their Food. While they eat I go to the bathroom, brush my teeth, fix my hair, put on a little make-up get dressed then it's the same thing they want to go out. Although I love them both dearly. I just wish that I had a little bit of More Time for me.
CalfeeChick, it's Fancy1959. I use my blow dryer to but it's typically after I get out of the shower. I go over and blow my back and various spots dry but still feel damp after I've used my towel to dry off. I hate when I try to get dressed and my clothes stick to me in various places because my skin is still slightly damp. This eliminates that problem and I've learned it makes dressing ever so much easier.
I also had my daughter, last Christmas, get me a hospital style tray to use in my living room. It is always full of my notebook, various pens or papers I need to read and I typically eat many of my meals there too. It is necessity for those of us who find our self stationary for far too long during the day. It makes it an easy reach to pick up any or all the necessities I need during the day!
I also do my best to stay independent although I can say it's getting harder each and every year. I have a super lightweight Walker with a liver release that's easy to use in my backseat. It has wheels on the front and skis on the back. It also has a roll up fabric seat that I can use if I need to sit down. On top of that I've bought a tray to fit over the handlebars and cute pink gym shoes too be my newest addition as my skis on the back. I can stop for lunch by myself and be totally self-sufficient and getting my food and my drink to the table. You know having the right equipment and all the toys makes the biggest difference! You can find most anything that you require on the internet. Just shop your local store sites and save lots of money from buying things through medical warehouses that are local. Hope this helps. If I think of more I'll let you know. Fancy.
I'd love to see a picture of your walker. Sounds very interesting. Thanks for adding to the hints. I'm sure that there are things we do every day that we could add to Hints.
