Thought I was going to be able to schedule delivery through texts...wrong...I have to call them to schedule a delivery. I forgot about the text I received on Thursday and they are closed on weekends so I will have to call them on Monday to set up a delivery time. So much for 'convenience' when I still have to call someone...geesh.
Anyway...Happy Saturday everyone! Hope you are having a great day. It is very windy and chilly here in MI. The last few days were very nice, t-shirt weather days and then today....brrrr!! Mother Nature needs to get with the program already, I'm telling you!

I'm glad you are at least going to get it. We all just love switching pharmacies/doctors, insurance companies! I had to switch pharmacies when our insurance changed. The new company does not keep a phone number, so when they call, my phone won't recognize the number. I never pick up for numbers I don't recognize due to the large number or robo and sales calls. It's quite a process now to get refills.
When I was with Acredo and called back to automated line you just enter your prescription # and it setup delivery π¦. They were good about how many pills you hadπ. I had good luck with themπππΎ Ken
I wish it was still that way Kenu , it would be soooo much easier. Unless there is a way to bypass it, I am unaware of it They usually contact me close to when it has been a month since my last shipment, which is why I received the text. Just thought it was going to be to schedule my shipment, not to call...pointless to have texts when they can just call me. O-well.
They are so wonderful with handling my insurance company, even when our employer changes their plan. I was astonished when they even paid for my co-pay when I couldnβt afford it. They made sure that my insurance company didnβt play a fast one and prescribe me the generic version of Copaxone. The nurse was so helpful when I started to have lipothropy from all the injections I have taken over the years. I still use their app to keep track of my injection sites. So far best company experience I have encountered for my MS.
I remember taking my 1st shot, and the hospital pharm was calling me to get this scrip.π And I was really confused, π€€Because I thought it was already done. So I told them no. π€
Next thing I know, FLIPPEN everyone is calling me, the injector is flying across the room. And I'm in tears! ππ
I told the hospital off. Cause they tried to go behind my back. And have shared solutions nowππ€£ππ
Glad you have Shared Solutions now Jesmcd2 they are great to work with!! I loved them when I was on Copaxone! Just couldn't do the injections anymore with the welts (even the 3 times a week). Now on Tectifera and it's going great for me so far.
Sorry about the hospital going behind your back like that...can't believe people do that kind of stuff
My phone was ringing, call waiting, my mother sitting there, trying to 'help' and I have an injector in my hand. ππππ€ I completey messed up the 1st shot.π€£ππ€£
Been dealing with Acreedo for years without any problems until my last order. Was SO surprised because they're order people have always been great & thorough. Not this time. IDK if this last one was having personal issues or what but my order was oddly never entered into the system. I found out when I called about 4 days after it was supposed to arrive. The guy who helped me was lost for words when he saw it in the system but there was no record of it ever beeing shipped.
I feel sure this was an isolated occurrence but felt I should make y'all aware
Always have to be on our toes with these companies. After I am contacted by the company, I follow the online tracking with my insurance company of when they receive the order from the company, when it has shipped.
Gm all, I know when I have to order my tecfidera every month I either catch their call because now I'm use to the number. i as well don't answer calls I don't know. I either let them leave a message and than call back. If they don't leave a message I don't call back. Anywhoo, every month they have to ask you the same questions to make sure nothing has changed. Its a pain because I'm so use to it now I know what order the questions get asked. I tell them all the time nothing has changed. everything is the same and yet they will ask me anyway. Lately I must be getting all newbies because they get the questions all messed up and I have to repeat it to them. It drives me crazy, it was never like this in the last 4 years. It was walgreen specialty and they were the best, so professional and friendly. the company that took over is the worst with the questions and taking information that they repeat it back to me 5 times and they said oh I asked you that already and 4th questions later ask you the second question for the 6th time. ughh
Good luck and I'm happy you are finally getting you meds. Tecfidera has been good too me. No real problems. Have a blessed day everyone
I called the pharmacy this morning and talked to someone and scheduled my delivery for next Friday. Forgot to bring up the text issue but it quick though I did have to tell her when she tried to tell me about the copay that I have met my deductible so there should be no cost, she reran the insurance and she apologized and said there is no cost. Now that is out of the way for another month
