Is this a ms thing or I’m just going crazy

It can be both. Check out some MS support groups so you can meet people.

Tiffie07,it's Fancy1959. Sometimes it can be very challenging when we first become a stay-at-home patient to find things to occupy our time. This chat room filled a huge void for me. I can easily spend two to three hours a day talking to people and offering advice and posting fun things for everybody to share. You're well on your way to becoming a vital part of this chat room so spend a little time each day on talking to everybody here. Secondly do you have any type of hobbies that you are still capable of doing? I'm an arts and crafts person and I like to do door decorations for the seasons table decorations and occasionally I'll draw or sketch. Can you do anything like knitting or crocheting. That's a great time consuming hobby to get into if you can. I am also trying to write a book so between that and the chat room I run out of times a lot of days. Then our course our favorite time consuming activity is all the dang doctor appointments we have to go to! LOL

Do you have any kind of pets indoors? They sure take up a void and fill a hole left in our very soul when everyone we love leaves for the day and goes about their business when we're stuck at home. My little Chihuahua mix pup is my savior. She is so worried about me she follows me everywhere, sometimes even in the bathroom.

You could also try to get involved in MS activities as a volunteer. Oftentimes if they know there are driving or mobility issues they will come pick you up because they need every soul they can there to assist with the various activities and promote and teach the general public about MS. And who better than to do that than the people who actually have the disease.

Having a pet close to you , makes us feel happy.

My husband and I will take care of our friends dogs and spoil them, like our own.

Yes, it can be lonely. Filling your day is up to you. Frankly I find many MS websites sad because of whining. Also, be appreciative that your husband is working instead of running away. I do understand the boat we are in, but have found a small group of MSers that make the best of our situation. Three of us recently created a group to address it. Come join us.

I have ppms, and I feel helpless.

I used to be a nurse, and found out that I have MS.

So, we moved to VA, so I could have family support.

Now, I am housebound, and lonely.

Hi, I love adult coloring books. They aren't like a child's coloring book and there are so many different ways to color now. Color pencils, gel pens, alcohol pens, pastels. You can mix them together and get awesome creations. I also make paper beads out of old magazines, paper of any kind and make jewellery. Look up paper beading on YouTube. There are amazing things you can create with paper beads. Heck, it's fun just rolling the beads. I hope this was of some help. 🙄 Have a wonderful day!

Nothing to do? Rearrange the furniture, repot the plants, wash the clothes, one of my favorites, clean the dust out of the corners of the rooms. I have dogs. They can make a hairy mess in here. You can visit a friend, change the sheets, clean the cupboards. As you can see, I am rather a bored person, too. I hope you find something to make your day a screaming party.

Not what you're looking for?
