Colour Confusion

I always wondered these "difficult/different" colours were all one, but different shades of Blue itself, but turns out every colour is different and it is difficult to remember too! 🤔🤞😎

Yes, Hidden but it gives me such glorious choices when I quilt! Why just have purple when you can have eggplant, magenta, lilac, raisin, or mauve! Is Royal blue blue or purple? Don’t know but they both work well in a quilt, don’t you think?

Colors are fascinating to me. The nuances, the names, how we see them differently, the fact that animals see fewer colors, or more than us, and even different ones. Also, how colors were made (or not in the past). One job that's long gone is the maker of colors for painting. The meaning of colors is also interesting - it's all different by culture. Colors are like a language of their own.

Unfortunately, no. I have no skills whatsoever in the art of drawing or painting. But I like the world of colors. I actually see my emotions in colors and various shape. I wish I could draw them....
