If I’m honest, I’ll admit that I’ve fallen off the exercise wagon. My PCP referred me to physical therapy to help with spasticity. I hadn’t realized how stiff my gait was. The therapist was marvelous and gave me a plan with exercises to keep muscles relaxed and prevent a lot of problems.
Finding a therapist who understands MS was such a blessing. I highly recommend seeking a referral to one whenever it’s available. I only went three times, but feel I have a number of things I can actively use as I need them.
Thanks again for looking at this and sending the links. The internet is a great tool, but it sure has lots of nonsense, too.
I’ve bookmarked your links to use as I ease back into a little exercise.
You’re a gem!
Thank you for the referral to a great article. I printed out some of the Canadian PDF info. I too have fallen off the exercise wagon and have hubby and friends trying to get me to the gym.. I love doing all the various stretches and will be the first to tell you that my spasticity always feels better the longer I am up and moving around.
