Happy Valentine's Day everyone! This is my every day valentine. She and her granddad and I are starting a new "adventure" today, as her parents are out of town at a school music conference. We are having a QUADRUPLE sleepover! She is so excited and I try to act like I am, too. But the getting up before sunrise (about 4 hours before my normal get-up time) to get her fed, dressed and to school....then pick her up at 4 and take her to dance lessons til 8....when just doing on load of laundry a day or going grocery shopping with hubby wears me out for the next two days...not sure how I'm gonna make it 4 days...but with God's and hubbys help, I will!
We won't even talk about how I STILL haven't gotten a Tysabri infusion this year, due to my retirement system changing the insurance provider Jan 1. I THOUGHT I had all my ducks in a row in December, but...I honestly think it's the hospital slowing verything up. Insurance company has told me its all approved, drug company has said I'm on their "get it free" program, infusion center at the hospital says they keep trying to order he drug but it's not going through. i have put this in God's hands and know He will see me grow this...just hope its before another relapse.
Blessings to all, and wishing you all good health and happiness,
Sandy

Hi, txcg152 . Yes I live in Texas. Originally from Oklahoma, then bounced back and forth between Oklahoma City and St Louis until we settled in San Antonio in 1986. Moved to our current location - Edinburg, Texas 4 years ago
Sorry to hear about Tysabri, seems funny it’s so hard for Hospital to get 🤷🏼♂️ I know that my insurance had to change it’s pharmacy three times to get Aubagio as it was hard to obtain also Hope you get it ASAP 👍prayers are with you 🙏🙏🐶🐕🐩🐾😉Ken
Thank you, janetb1968 . I have been on Tysabri for ove 4 years, and love it. No changes in my MRIs since I started taking it, which is a good thing!!! I'm sure you'll have as good an experience as me.
I hope you can enjoy your time without overextending yourself too badly. You're in my prayers for getting your infusions resumed. Hang in there, and keep us posted.
Thanks, pihokken ! I'm sure I will find the strength, but can promise you that when her parents get back, I'm going to do nothing but sleep and veg for the next week...
Thanks, jimeka ! They DO grow up so quickly, which is why I agreed to this...even my son and daughter-in-law kept telling me that they were afraid it would be too much for me, and they COULD take her with them... I wouldn't think of it (how boring for her to sit through 4 days of presentations). I will persevere and it'll be awesome! I can rest when they get bwck
She’s beautiful. When it comes to grandkids we tend to find some extra strength. Somehow we are raising our 8 year old grandson. And my wife is homeschooling him this year.
I know, Doubled51 - you are my inspiration- I tell myself hat if you guys can do it, so can I. And you're right, somehow we get energized when with e grandkids(s)!
Inspiration I don’t know about but I can testify to the energized part.😁. They bring out strength that we didn’t dream we have. And ours is a great grandson and the last 2 days we’ve had our 18 month great grand daughter and she already in her terrible 2s.😜🤪😁😂❤️💕❤️. She’s truly a granddaddy’s girl. 💝. But jojos granddaddy’s boy also.😇❤️
Sandy, your Valentine is beautiful and you are so lucky to have her for 4 days! Donnie is so right when he says, when it comes to grandkids we tend to have extra strength. You will do great and we will all be thinking of you❣️
