Tremors

I was having problems with tremors that just would not go away. It was like I was freezing cold (but did not feel cold) and was shaking all over.

My doctor put me on medicine that I take at bed time. Things seem to be better except in the morning. When I wake up i seem to have tremors in my arm and hands.

PLEASE share your experience. I'm not sure if this is normal for MS, Or maybe dr needs to increase medicine a little. The tremors in my hands and arm seem to inprove as the day goes on.

Good morning SimHarris, it's Fancy1959 and since I have not spoken to you before I wanted to give you a great big welcome to this awesome chat room. You have found a safe place full of some of the most caring, kind, and compassionate people I have ever met. You can come and ask questions, voice concerns like you've done, or simply speak to people who truly understand what you're going through.

I to have tremors but mine are more exhaustion related. When my legs grow tired they tend to wobble all over the place. It is hard to even make them relax so they stop the violent shaking they are caught up in. Any time something bothers you to the extent your morning tremors seem to bother your hands I would for certain bring it up to your neurologist. It's always good to keep a journal and write down any new symptoms or how long symptoms continue when you go for your appointments so you have a solid faces to show the doctor. I don't believe that tremors are that uncommon with MS but as others reply you'll soon find out from the general people in the chat room how much they experienced them. In the morning I also have spasticity that hits my legs and sometimes my arm as well. When it hits it's hard to make anything work as it goes straight out and refuses to bend. I believe the most important thing you can take away from your question is to keep up the exercise and keep being active. By exercising your muscles you make them stronger and less prone to being attacked by the monster that haunts us all. Remember together we are stronger!
