I survived the dreaded colonoscopy prep. It was a hurdle I’m glad to be over. Had i pollop. Get results from it next week.
I remember others saying they had 1 coming up. God bless you on that prep. I was terribly nauseated but didn’t throw up thank god. That’s some nasty stuff to drink.
God bless

I have one coming up and they want me to fast for 48 hours because of my last one 6 years ago. I have an extremely long twisted colon. I get weak after 10 hours of no food. I'm going to just eat steel cut oatmeal and fruit a week before and fast for 24 hours. No way could I fast for 48 hours. I think pollops are pretty common so you just having one is great. I have a friend that gets a colonoscopy every 3 years and they just zap the pollops while they do the procedure.
SometimesCrazy . My last one about 3 years ago I had several so I should have already had one and he did the same and just zapped them so I’m happy that I only had one. I just had to fast from noon yesterday til midnight with liquids then nothing after midnight and I was so weak this morning after the cleansing I could barely walk. 48 hours they’d have to keep me in the hospital with iv fluids I think.🤭🤭🤭.
Doubled51 so pleased that you are ok. The stuff they give you to empty yourself is awful. You certainly have my sympathy. Let us know your results, blessings Jimeka 🦋 🤗 🙏
Doulbed51, it's Fancy1959. I 'm getting ready to come to my second colonoscopy in the next two years. I'm hoping by that time they have the new genetic kit available where they can simply have you send in a sample of your feescis and they can test for colon issues with the sample. At least I can dream it'll be that simple for me. Haha. Don't say it don't burst my bubble at least for another year and a half!😄
Hope the report on the polyp is negative. The dreaded Prep is the worst part of the whole procedure. Fortunately, my doc said I was so clean, he didn't want to see me for 10 yrs. PCP doc says maybe 5 yrs.
