I will begin.... of course mine was being able to swim for exercise this week. Also that I’ve been able to work all day everyday (so far) this week and actually FELT like being there.
Great idea. We need to hear positive things. Two things for me: 1) I started physical therapy and I'm very excited about it. I had put it off for too long but am encouraged with even just one visit so far with my physical therapist. 2) Ok, this will seem really stupid but I'm counting it as a victory anyway. I love having a cup of coffee in the morning. However, holding the mug is always a hassle. I can't hold just the handle and when I wrap my hand around the mug, it's hot! Ow. Anyway, this morning I mentioned needing a sippy type cup with handles on both sides and my husband said, "let me just pour it in a travel mug." Our "travel mugs" have handles but they don't get hot. Wow, novel idea. It worked! I could actually drink a hot cup of coffee without burning my hands! Duh, I know. Wishing all of you a wonderful rest of the week.
SOOOO glad to hear you started PT Tinker-Belle !!! I know when I have gone (for other issues other than MS-related ones) I've always been encouraged. Even if it did cost me an arm and a leg
and Hey--I don't think ANYTHING sounds stupid; seriously! Being able to have a hot cup of coffee is something probably 90% of the population take for granted...what a blessing for you to be able to have one in COMFORT!!!!! Yay!!! Great victories! Thank you so much for sharing!
The promised wheelchair was not at our gate at the airport, and we were surely going to miss our connection. With my sweet husband's urging and encouragement, I was able to keep up and get to another terminal. We arrived with only seconds to spare, but we did it! Another mountain moved!
Hooray!! Hope you're traveling somewhere absolutely, fantastically awesome! Post a picture so I can vicariously live through you from my office with 90-degree heat just outside my window
We are moved into our new house and the garage is almost empty of 📦. Ya hooo! There is no such thing as a easy move😓. Been a week steady putting things away and organizing as we go 👍. Hopefully by Monday we will have pictures hung and Jody’s paintings. Next will be yard 😫. 🙏😉🐾 Ken
Whoa! What a week!!! That’s a HUGE victory!!!! I sure hope you’ve scheduled in some major REST or you’re going to crash!! We can’t have that!!
You’re right; NO such thing as an easy move! Whenever I’ve done it I say “never again!!!”
You’re ahead of me with the empty garage! We’ve lived in our house for almost 11 years and still have a couple boxes! Pretty sure we don’t need anything in those 😉
Wow Ken I’m impressed. We moved last July and there’s still so much stuff in my shop. I don’t think it will ever get all put up.😂😂. I told my wife we didn’t need it but she wouldn’t listen now it’s still sitting.😂😂😂
Glad all went well my friend cause you’re right. There’s no such thing as an easy move.
Everyday I open my eyes again, place my feet on the floor, grumble about my cramping body and how it fails me, make a cup of coffee and start a new day.... It's a huge victory. (Of course that's an abridged version leaving out the scratching my rear and well... I'll just leave it at that, yall get the picture) 😂🤣😂
