Getting anxious about stent on Tues but to day I went to the IdahoHumaneSociety.I actually stayed 2 hours which...been so long since i could.I helped find 3 pups a 4 ever home and swept a floor and cleaned a counter.I played normal. My MS hasn't had a rest in a week but as i started to leave i remembered two woman i helped serve and wanted to wish them good holidays before i left.I found them out walking a pup and as i said good bye the older of the two reached over and gave me a sweet tender hug.She smiled and said, life isn't easy but its do-able....look at the dogs, they are all so happy. One had a really hard life from New Mexico skinny and taken out of a bad situation but now happy...safe, amongst friends....Happy holiday ma'am...Little did she know MS was learking ready to change the day.For that 2 hours or 2 minutes...MS couldn't take that away, joy happiness, a hug, a smile....life is do'able....
This is Lucy, a rescue who rescued me..she lived until 15.TY group for minutes hours days of joy......

jackiesj Beautiful dog. Thanks for sharing your post. Glad you were able to get out and volunteer for a little while. Volunteering at a local shelter after I hurt my back and waiting to go back to work I found my heart dog. She was a 1 year old boxer mix that was found running the streets and her owners never came back for her. Will try to post a picture of her in another post.
