All night sleep?
If you find it tell it from the mountain!!!
Sggmcswain, it's Fancy1959. I would suggest you speak to your primary care doctor or your neurologist about this. There are experts in the field and it's safer to use their advice then our amateur advice. They will be experts in knowing if what you use or what they suggest over-the-counter or Herbal Remedies will interact negatively with any of the meds you are on. We would not have a clue as lay people about interactions and such. Be careful what you experiment with by yourself without checking with your doctor.
So true we are not doctors here I try say that when ever I am talking on here. The best people to talk to is your doctors that’s why they went to School. Look 👀 here I nd you can suggest something and they will let you know what they think about it. Because what other medicines you are taking may not work with the medicines you are on.
Sggmcswain I really can't remember the last time that I slept through the whole night. My suspicion is that I wake up when the nighttime meds (mainly baclofen) wears off. If this is the case, not sure if I will ever be able to sleep straight through again. Without the baclofen, spasticity will wake me up.
I consider it a success if I am able to quickly fall back asleep.
Sggmcswain , I forgot to include in my recent Ocrevus update that ever since I started getting infusions I have had the DEEPEST sleep, that it almost frightens me sometimes. I am sleeping through the night with no sense of even moving, no waking and trying to fall back to sleep, no memories of turning over, readjusting, etc. I'm no longer waking up to go the bathroom either, which I was doing many, if not most, nights. Ocrevus is the only thing that had changed before this started, and seeing as that's a pretty major change I have to assume it to be the cause. Now then, sounds wonderful, right? Well .... while in some ways it's been great to have that long, uninterrupted stretch of sleep, it's combined with almost a fear of not being able to wake up. It's almost as if my brain has forgotten how to wake me normally and when I do "come to" it's as if I'm trying to make my way up into the light from the bottom of the ocean. Some mornings this is pronounced and troubling, others it's just taking longer to wake up and get going. I don't know if anyone else on Ocrevus has noticed anything similar, but it would be interesting to find out.
I'm sorry you are having trouble sleeping through the night, before Ocrevus, I did also. Keeping the bedroom extremely dark or wearing a sleep mask, running a fan for white noise, and when really needed taking a Benadryl or half a Xanax at bedtime seemed to help some. Hope it gets better for you soon.

Do u feel rested after the deep sleeps?
Have u read anything @ Ocrevus affecting sleep cycles or r u in any other groups where someone may have commented on this?
erash - Interesting you should ask that because one of my most defeating symptoms over the past two years has been what my doctors call "unrefreshing sleep," which is apparently common in autoimmune diseases. I would try to explain how I would open my eyes in the morning, even after a full night's sleep, to a flood of utter and complete exhaustion as if I hadn't slept in months. Whether this has been due to MS or one of my other conditions is anybody's guess, but since starting Ocrevus it is definitely much better, which has been a huge relief.
I have not read any other comments about Ocrevus and sleep cycles, but I may need to do a little digging.
Almost sounds good. I am taking a half of Ambien. Maybe should try a whole.
Hope you adjust to something soon that you are comfortable with.
Sggmcswain , I'm not sure why you're waking up at night but quite a number of us with MS wake up to use the bathroom. If that's the way it is, you might want to try one of the drugs like Vesicare that cut down on urinary frequency. I've tried several of them, including Vesicare, and I did get up less often at night but the mouth dryness was intolerable.
I'm glad that I wake up at night in time to get to the bathroom. When I'm overly tired I sleep almost till dawn and then am in danger of an accident. I'm so used to getting up at least once a night, often several times, that I just go right back to sleep unless I have a pain to deal with. I do ALWAYS take a nap in the afternoon and fall asleep for an hour or so at that time, maybe making up for the disturbed sleep at night.
Thank you all
Last night I didn’t fall asleep until 3:00a.m Then once I did fall asleep I didn’t wake up until 7a.m.I had to set my alarm clock because I have to have blood drawn. And my husband didn’t have to go to work. Well I did got some sleep. I think some of my problem is I sleep too much during the day but then I don’t know how to fall awake.
Funny thing yesterday I had an oil and I got up early which was different for me and got the morning stuff done, I almost did it ( fall asleep) but thank goodness he showed up be for I fell asleep.
