Does anyone take these for energy? Or by injection? I've been taking the tablet but heard the drops/ injection are better absorbed.

Vitamin B-12 sublingual drops?
Kinda, when I drink a Red Bull...but it's the caffeine that gets me going. I eat nutritional yeast which has a ton of B12 in it and never noticed a boost, but then my B12 blood levels have never been low.
Anything sublingual will be better absorbed than the tablet because it bypasses your liver in processing. That said, you could have a crappy B12 source or your blood levels may be stellar, and that could be why you don't get the energy you are expecting?
I use both SL and injection to help my b12 deficiency. Oral tablets cause GI upset. Neither give energy jolt.
@erash
I have a question for you, please: If I'm not anemic, is my B-12 likely normal? Wonder if I should test mine but always thought anemia was the tip off, so I haven't. You probably can answer this? Thank you!

First I'd look at the MCV in the CBC. If elevated, could be B12 deficiency. Can do a B12 level. More accurate is an elevated MMA.
Abnormal homocysteine can signal a folate def. which can also Elev. MCV
By the way, my H/H are lormal, which on the surface says no anemia. My MCV generally stays b/w 103-105 (Elev) even when my b12 levels normalize? Seems to be a familial trait for me, father, 1 bro
I'm so happy I remember some of this stuff 😜
suzy20 Nom_De_Plume or anyone else interested in more info @ B12, I just received my latest AAFP journal today and ironically there's an article on Vit B12 deficiency (I haven't even read it yet). If interested, private message me with your email and I can send you a PDF (I still haven't figured out how to attach here yet!)
Hi suzy20 . I have been on injectable B12 for years for the MS fatigue, but I just found out that there are two types. The most common one, and the one taken by injection, is cyclobalaban (sp?) but there is also a methyl Vit. B12 which the neuro-opthamologist told me about and suggested that it would be better, That is taken orally. What I did was start taking the methyl B12 once per day and I still use the injection 1 time per week. The best thing that you can do is do some research and speak to your dr about it then make a decision.
I wish I could answer that. I don't know for sure, but I do think that it sped up my metabolism and perhaps gave me more energy.
