Took me a few days, but I took the weekend off.
Neuschwanstein or Alpine Castle
1000 pieces
Labeled super challenging, and definitely is. It was a bit easier this time because it’s one I’ve done about three times before.

That's awesome. It is the "Disney castle". Many years ago I got the chance to go to the Nueschwanstein castle. It was built by "Crazy King Ludwig". He was responsible for building most of the fairy tale castles in the Bavarian Mountains (part of the Alps). This particular one was never finished. Work on it stopped when he died. According to the tour guide, some say he committed suicide and others claim he was murdered. To get up to this castle you have your choice of walking roughly 1 mile up the side of the mountain or taking a horse drawn carriage ride. There is a restaurant just before you get to the castle. Only trucks delivering supplies to the restaurant are allowed to drive up that road and only as far as the restaurant. There's a lesser known smaller castle on a mountain opposite of the Nueschwanstein castle. It is closer to being finished and is more interesting to see on the inside. You can see each castle from the other castle. King Ludwig did that on purpose so that he could observe on going construction from the other castle. I guess that's one way to keep the construction workers on their toes. You never know if the customer is watching you.😂🤣😂🤣
