Just a little present Irma left me. A 40' reminder of what a hurricane can do even this far inland. Just a sample of gods power. Just glad it was a long way from my house

Breathing a huge sigh of relief! I'm just happy you weren't hurt because of the tree!

I've been hoping my cousins in Georgia and my Aunt & Uncle (& even more cousins and their children) in NC would be coming back to Upstate NY so they'd be safe too! But the news says the hurricane isn't as bad as it was. From what they say is they aren't as worried now. Call me a worrywart...haha? Then again who knows what Jose will bring.

God Bless You!

Praying Jose misses altogether. The sun is shining here and a beautiful day to dig out from all the limbs and leaves. It looks like we've had a green snow there so many leaves down. Getting the blower out and see wha t I can do.

We are still without electricity. I'm surprised at how well I've been tolerating the heat. Kind of nice not to be so electronically connected but I miss ya' all 💕

Prayers coming your way for power to be restored soon. Glad you're safe and the heat is not hurting you. Ours was only out my 28 hrs and I was yelling hurray when the lights and fan woke me up. Lol.

Great to hear from you erash . I know you have a long road left to travel, but you are OK and that is step one. Take care of yourself and we will look forward to hearing from you again when you are able to give us an update.

Sorry to hear about the prolonged power outage. Don't know how you're managing in that heat and humidity. Hope your parents are ok. Miss you! 💞

Wow! There sure are a lot still standing! Praise God! Just Please, when you get ready to cut it up, move it, whatever the plan, be careful of your back!! Do you use one of those wrap around support belts? They help a Lot! Home Depot, Lowe's, hardware store will have them. I loose the angels to help you!

@Petiej. Luckily I have a lot of trees and plenty of ground space. Unless somebody needs some firewood it will just stay right where it is. Thank God it was down that far and I don't have to deal with cutting and moving it. Praise God is the absolute truth

I live in South Florida, Palm Beach County. I was without electricity for 2days with high heat because I was about to get new insulation installed and at the end, nothing to protect from the attic high heat i got sick, with dizeness, exausted, not able to do anything. I bought a portable a/c unit for my bedroom, but it was no enough with a a generator not too much powerful for the house. Finally I decided to moved for few days to another friends house with electricity and good air conditioner. I say that I am in the hurricane Reabilitation. I was completely knock down.

Now Friday already, feeling better.

Don't blame you at all for going where the a.c. is. I'm so glad it was kinda cool while the power was off or I would have been in trouble. Be safe in this heat and take care of yourself.

Happy to hear you're ok, Miriade , but sorry to hear about the heat, symptoms, and having to relocate. Waiting to hear how others here who live in FL are doing. Power is still out for so many. 🙁
