Hey all! A lot of you asked. I am doing so much better! Thanks to a med change and some other adjustments! So thank you for your prayers and concerns!
So, now on to my title. Yesterday I had a friend of my wife taking me to my endocrinologist appointment and to get an anniversary card for my wife (19 years married today!!!!!) it was super humid. I started to feel really really sick! Terribly sick! I was sweating like crazy, had to take my foot brace off, watch. And if it wasn't a female friend, I would have stripped more. Don't ask, it's what I do. Anyway. During this I was in and out of consciousness. Turns out my blood sugar was crashing and I mistook it for MS heat!!! I came too long enough to ask her to stop for juice. Now this woman is like my wife. In looks, attitude and calm under fire. She ran into the closest store got me a ton of juice. I managed to stay awake to gulp it down and not throw up. Thank you God! Then started to come to. Got to the Drs and had them check my sugar. After two giant things of juice my sugar was only 100! That was 25 minutes late. Meaning, it must have been deadly low! My wife told me later that her friend was actually on the phone with her the entire time. She was telling me things I don't remember. I basically was near death. So scary. I tell this story to make a point. NEVER EVER IGNORE YOUR BODY! Pay attention to what is telling you! Even with just MS. Go outside prepared for what you may encounter. Cooling cloths, water, meds. Whatever you have. If like me and suffer with more than just MS make sure you are doubly prepared! I look back at yesterday and contemplate the fact I may not have made it to today. My wedding anniversary. My wife would have killed me! Ha!

Jesmcd2 she gave up rolling her eyes with me. Her eyes would be exhausted. she just shakes her head and laughs. Says only you, you pain in my ass! Then promptly smacks my ass! So. it's a win win for me! What I have put her through. I am the first born child! I don't know how she does it without a cattle prod or just plain old shooting me. She is amazing!
