Jasper, the last of our original pack, had to go over the rainbow bridge yesterday. He had a brain tumor. We have lost four doggies in thirteen months. Just crushed. He has been acting unusual and had two or three grand mal seizures yesterday morning. So I took him right it.
I thought I would share something I learned with all of you fur baby lovers. The rate of cancer in dogs is now every 1: 1.65 dogs will get cancer. And it is widely believed that unfiltered tap ๐ฆ water is the main culprit. We now always filter our dogs water.
My husband and I are just lost and so shocked at losing our original โfamilyโ. I know there are so many dog and cat lovers out there. Jasper was special. He was found on the streets here as a puppy. Someone had poured acid on him. He needed some serious clean up. When we went to an adoption fair, my hubby and I separated. We met back up and both said oh there is a little dog I have to show you. It turned out we both had chosen Jasper without the other one knowing! He was a bundle of โค๏ธ love who shared my pillow for 12 years! How I will miss my little guy. Love to all, Kelly xx

Wishing you comfort. We lost our Golden this past year and we have been heartbroken. I know to some they are just animals but he was our sweet boy and gave us so much comfort. I printed out a bunch of pictures of him and have my screensaver of him. Although it makes me so sad, it makes me smile, too. Nothing quite the the love of a dog. What a beautiful life you were able to give that poor pup.
Kelly, thatโs heartbreaking news. Iโm so sorry. Itโs wonderful to have enjoyed that little fellow for so long. You gave him a loving home and great care, and I hope that the good memories are a blessing as you grieve. Iโll be praying for Godโs special comfort for you and your family.
Sorry for your loss Kelly๐ข They become a big part of our family and give us so much love โค๏ธ. Sounds like he had a great life with you guys and was time to move on. Just remember the happy days ๐๐๐๐พ Ken
How wonderful that you were able to give Jasper a wonderful 12 years. Keep those good memories in your heart and he will always be with youโค๏ธโค๏ธ๐๐๐๐๐
Iโm so sorry Kelly. I know what a difficult time it is for you. We had to put our dog down last week. The house seems so different without him. Thank you for the water tip. I will make sure our kitty only gets filtered water. Sending you a big hug.
Amore55 dear Kelly, our grief for the animals who companion us is genuine, though the immediate pain we feel at their passing fades, they are always remembered., with us still. I am so sorry for the loss of Jasper. He leaves a void that is hard to ignore.
Oh Kelly, Iโm so very sorry. You have endured too much loss. I have been in the place you are in today and I, like so many others, understand the pain. I pray that the happy memories of fun things Jasper did will quickly replace the tears.๐พ๐พ
I am so sorry for your loss. It was remarkable that you and your husband wanted the same dog. People need to animals to get through problems they are having. Keeps their minds off their own problems. Your animals had a wonderful life with you and your husband. Stay strong ๐ช will keep you in my prayers๐๐ก
Thank you for your kind remarks. It WAS so funny that we were both so excited about the dog we had each found, only to realize out of 400 dogs we picked the same one! He was just a big hearted little sweetheart.
