So Sad

My favorite cousin has been fighting ovarian cancer with the help of Cancer Treatment Center of America for 10 years. She has been in studies at the National Institute of Health for the last year when CCA told her they could do nothing more to help. I just heard she is now in Hospice and is no longer awake. I know she is no longer in pain, but I will miss her!

SueAB, it's Fancy1959. It is never easy to let go of someone you love but your cousin will be free of pain and going to a better place. On top of that you have to realize that she will only be a thought away.

I want you to think of the fun times you had together, of the good memories and smile often when you think of her. That's how you need to remember her. Not her being sick. She would not have wanted it any any other way I'm certain. She is till watching over you giving you inspiration when yours is lacking. Helping you make decisions when you are caught in the middle of indecision. And when you had a rough day and you have been through three kinds of Terror the warm gentle breeze that unexpectedly caresses your skin will be your cousin caressing you and refreshing you to help you get through day. She'll never be far away. And remember we are also just a post away. We're always here if you need us. Together we are stronger!
