Which movie is a parallel to your MS symptoms?

Groundhog Day with Bill Murray caught in a time warp repeating his day over and over...

Don't actually like the movie but...

Sometimes I forget if I said it or just thought @ saying it...thank goodness my husband is patient.

Or I can't remember, did I brush my teeth a minute ago? Oh well, can't hurt to bush again πŸ˜„

Which movie is yours?

I have to agree with you as regards Ground hogday. My husband actually says' oh no it's Ground hog day again'

The movie with Tom Hanks,' life is like a box of chocolates ' can't remember the title, don't like the movie, but always remember him sat on the bench saying that. This is fun, makes you think, cheers Jimeka

I do like the Forest Gump movie if only because his response to why he runs is, "because I can..."

I would say Gone with the Wind, but that describes me as not giving up. Not ms symptoms lol

This may not be parallel to ms but it made me chuckle.

The Sound of Music, sing the words to the tune My favourite things.

Botox and nose drops and needles for knitting,

Walkers and handrails and new dental fittings,

Bundles of magazines tied up in string,

These are a few of my favourite things.

Cadillacs and cataracts, hearing aids and glasses,

Polident and Fixodent and false teeth in glasses,

Pacemakers, golf carts and porches with swings,

These are a few of my favourite things.

When the pipes leak, when the bones creak,

When the knees go bad,

I simply remember my favourite things,

And then I don't feel so bad.

Hot tea and crumpets and corn pads for bunions,

No spicy hot food or food cooked with onions,

Bathrobes and heating pads and hot meals they bring,

These are a few of my favourite things.

Back pain, confused brains and no need for sinning,

Thin bones and fractures and hair that is thining,

And we won't mention our short shrunken frames,

When we remember our favourite things,

Then I don't feel so sad.

Don't forget to sing it! Happy Saturday my American friends, Jimeka

How creative you are, erash! That movie about sums up MS fog, doesn't it?!

It's not a movie-but the title of an old TV show: Lost in Space πŸ˜‚

My husband is thinking of a movie to go along with the real theme here. He says: invasion of the Body Snatchers...Dory (of Finding Nemo). I told him that's enough!!

jimeka profile image
jimekaβ€’ in reply toWAshingtongirl

I love your hubbys sense of humour

Invasion of the body snatchers. Ha ha πŸ˜‚

⭐️ Gold star for that one!

WAshingtongirl profile image
WAshingtongirlβ€’ in reply tojimeka

He said the movie title (for MS) would say: Invasion of the Body Snatchers--One Part at a Time. πŸ™„

He IS funny.

Yesterday I was really dragging, but with our kids coming over for dinner, I didn't want to nap. My husband kept encouraging me to. As we sitting there, discussing that, I pointed out the window. "Look, there's an eagle." I watched in awe as it soared around in circles. "I wonder where it's mate is."

"Napping," my husband said.

He keeps me laughing! His sense of humor was one of the reasons I married him. He has taught me how to laugh at myself. 😊

Whaaaat? Groundhog Day is a great movie!!

I don't have one specific film, but I watch Sweet November when I need a pep talk. It's a bit psycho of me, I'm aware.

This is premature, but Shawshank Redemption. I’m still digging in the wall. I saw my response from a year ago 🀣 I guess I do now.

Good question! Sister Act! The need to laugh and sing oldies as I remember the good all days. Nothing normal anymore and sad times. We are all πŸ˜…helping each other in some way. Thanks
