Finally took the dang pill after 6 months

I finally did it. I just took my first pill of Aubagio. This is a very big deal for me since I am scared to death. Dear lord please let me be ok and I pray that it works.

Good luck jkdavid99! I had similar feelings when I started tysabri. I've had 7 infusions now and look forward to #8. I feel so great a day or two after the infusion. The last week before an infusion can be rough. I hope you have no lasting side effects, no relapses, no progression, and less symptoms. Keep us posted on how you're doing. Someone else may need that drug next!

Good luck, jkdavid99. Just make sure your doc takes regular blood tests for your liver enzymes. All of these things have side effects, but if your doctor carefully watches you, you should be OK. I have heard lots of good things about this drug.

I've been on Aubagio since Nov. 2015. In the beginning it caused a few issues such as losing my hair but that settled down and my hair loss has now grown back. I am SPMS and was going down fast when I was put on Aubagio and now I have stabalized. None of the issues stayed for a prolonged period, upset stomach and diarrhea. It was all short term problems.
