Hi. I started my first medication treatment for Relapsing MS with Tecfidera 2 years ago at age 54. Besides the gastric side effects and flush, recently caused to me serious side effects with very low white blood cells count and capillary reactions. I am in pause of treatment for couple months. I will need to be for the next Monoclonal antibodies target CD20, some options from some biotech pharmaceutical companies in the latest research. I hope I can be approved.

I have been on Tecfidera a year now. It has helped me a lot better than Rebif did. I take Phenergan, for the nausea, and on occasions, I need a benadryl, for itching and hives.

Tecfidera worked fast controlling my headache inflammation related to MS. And my MRI one year after was stable. I recover fast, but I had others situations not exactly related to tecfidera who affected after 2 years my blood count. For the Flush you can eat avocado together or something with olive oil or even aspirin. All of them control very well the flush reaction which used to happen with me 2 hours after taken the pill.

Tecfidera made me violently ill, I never got out of the first week.
