Hello, I am not sure if you are a Facebook user we have a 3,700 member support group on that platform. However, with your particular story I am not sure of your age or general health. I would suggest opting for surgery, now a days doctors,in most cases, are not suggesting surgery unless they believe it is absolutely necessary. For example, my progression was caught relatively late and I was unable to walk without assistance when surgery happened. They didn't diagnose in time and I had to have emergency surgery. I have been left with permanent nerve damage as well as permanent disabilities. Therefore, based on what you are saying and the doctors are suggesting I would say it sounds like surgery is imminent. However, this is just based on experience as I am not a doctor. If you are interested our Facebook Group look for Myelopathy Support Group.
