Cervical Myelopathy is caused by deterioration in the spine in the neck leading to compression of the spinal cord and symptoms such as “numb” and “clumsy” hands, loss of coordination, imbalance, bladder and bowel problems, and weakness that can progress to severe paralysis. The Cervical Myelopathy community is part of the myelopathy.org network founded in 2015 to raise worldwide awareness of cervical myelopathy to support patients, carers and professionals who live and deal with it. ​We understand that being diagnosed with Myelopathy is life changing.
