Around 3 weeks ago I noticed a small patch on my chest which I thought nothing of. As its been a few weeks and it hasn't subsided I decided to look it to what it might be and I'm slightly worried it could be a superficial basal cell carcinoma. I've sent pictures to my GP as they are not doing face to face consultations at the moment due to covid-19 and they didn't seemed particularly concerned but I wanted a second opinion.
It's around 1cm in diameter, itchy on occasions but its flat and painless. The GP suggested a Dermotofibroma but I'm sceptical. Discoid Eczema has also been mentioned by a family memeber.
I'm 27yr old male so I believe its rare in people of my age, but you can never be too sure.
I've attached a pic, any thoughts welcomed.

To me, and I could be wrong, this look 'Fungal' in nature, the 'Well Defined' edges. Have you a local Pharmacy near you, if so, ask to speak with the Pharacist Him/ Her self. A seemingly 'little used' resourse Pharacists are, very well qualified people indeed!
If the Pharmacist DOES Diagnose a 'Fungal', or indeed any other condition, (s)he may be able to help. If a Prescription is necessary then, the Pharmacist, can contact your Doctor Direct- Doctors rarely disagree with Pharmacists.
If it, really is 'Nothing'... maybe a 'reaction' to washing powder say.... then you will, at least, know the cause.
Can you let us Know please Wozza? Best wishes, hope it IS OK.
I've just had a look online and your right it does look similar to some fungals. I guess my concern was that it hadn't subsided after 4 weeks or so. I'll take a trip to the pharmacy today to see what they suggest.
