Dear Woman555,

Firstly I would, just check, that this IS a cyst/ cystic spot as, in my experience, they don't 'hurt'.... Maybe a Tad uncomfortable, if you bash/ knock them too much.

Assuming it IS a cyst/ cystic spot it may, very well, simply resolve on it's own- failing that a Small operation, to drain it, might be necessary.

I wouldn't worry Woman555 but Do get it Checked, just in case.

Like Andrew I would get it checked, take photo, as swelling and pain generally indicate infection. I know seeing GP in person not easy just now but you could probably upload photo for phone consultation xx

My cystic acne is very painful at times, Dr advice is alwats useful incase the more mainstream meds can be prescribed for you. My acne refused to comply with meds but I can reduce the pain and imflamation with use of the Australian clay mask products. I have been applying this to the local area and it shortens the cycle. Worth a try when all else fails I find
