I have had red/burning skin on upper sternum/neck/face/eyelids for 5 months. Multiple blossoms tests as under Haematology, there first thought suggested I may have dermatomyositis although wasn’t presented in bloods. Seen dermatologist, they say I have Cronic Spontaneous Urticaria (CSU) ?

True they can only biopsy the "hive" when they are up, I must have miss read.
Mine are almost constant so they did get a biopsy done along with blood tests as well.
I'm assuming you've had all sorts of bloods done along with the FBC to see if anything is showing there.
Are you in the UK as if not it's difficult for me to suggest what else your GP might check re; bloods mine you apart from the basic tests they send you for and some they can ask for which a lot of them aren't aware of the main doctors that do the more exotic tests as my GP calls them are consultants at the hospital.
I imagine your GP has tried you with antihistamines and some sort of creams to see if its an allergy and if thats failed then maybe the should send you back to the dermatology dept., to get to the bottom of it.
Good luck with finding out what is going on as I know from my own experience it's not nice and not knowing is even worse, it took them over 3 years to diagnose mine but then I had to be difficult had develop a fairly rare problem.
