People are scared of Lasers for skin treatments; true?

I work for a leading skin care specialist, and we are on the lookout for acquiring a skin resurfacing tool. People are scared of Lasers as they believe that laser treatments can create cancer. No matter how hard we try to explain, people are afraid of it. Due to this circumstance, we have decided to replace our laser treatment with non-invasive fractional skin resurfacing systems that use radio frequency for the skin treatment- venusconcept.com/en-ca/skin... . I hope this would help our clients have peace of mind. I was hoping to know if the fear of laser treatment is that widespread among the population. I strongly believe laser treatment are mistaken for chemotherapy and that could be why people are reluctant to opt for laser treatments.

What do you guys think? Please share your wisdom on this.
