Please HELP- Rashes on face/lip area

I have got rashes around my lip area and I have no idea what to do. I'm really scared. It hasn't itched at all but did feel a slight burning sensation before the rash appeared, when it also had a lot of flaky dry skin on that area. Please help because I'm freaking out!

hi @itsnotelle have been having similar rushes around my mouth and under my nose for months. This was after the radio iodine treatment so i thought that it was a side effect ft and i let it be. As it persisted after months I told my GP who initially treated it as a bacterial attack inside and outside my mouth with nyastine and a cream used for thrush. In my last visit ten days ago he said it was perioral dermatitis and prescribed Skinoren cream that gives me a burning sensation immediately after using it and has not made the rush disappear. i have been feeling desperate and.have been thinking that I need to visit a private dermatologist. In the meantime my latest blood results showed that i have borderline e hypocalcemia so I am wondering if it is related. Finally, i have been thinking that it could be candida and will again try to go on a candid diet! So here is some food for thought no need to freak out but it would be good to check your blood results. Please let me k ow if you find a solution.

If you can get tea tree oil try a couple of drops in about 25ml in boiled cooled water then apply once to each 'patch' with a fresh piece of cotton wool for each. Wash your hands before and after. Tea tree will tackle fungal and bacterial infection gently. Or you could try using a hypoallergenic moisturiser first then a very thin smear of tea tree ointment. Good luck x
