Does anyone how to get rid of them?

I've heard that Apple Cider Vinegar or Tea Tree oil applied twice a day for three weeks works... or is this just an "Old Wives Tale?"

Hi, I had lots of skin tags around my neck area, I wondered if they were caused by friction from wearing a tie all my working life. I had some of them removed by my GP under local anaesthetic but found it was less painful to cut them off myself with sterilised scissors after cleaning the skin with spirit or iodine. this sounds a bit gruesome but its only painful for a second, I then apply pressure for a minute to stop the bleeding then applied a sticky plaster (the small spot ones) but I have been dealing with open wounds all my working life so not a problem for me. I'm not suggesting you do that but you should find one of your GPs (if they are a group practice) will have sessions where they do minor surgery. You can also tie the tag off with a very thin strong cotton but I have found it quite sore for a few days they will then eventually drop off.
