Wish I had something encouraging to tell you but ocd does cause relationship problems in so many ways. I lost my husband 3 years ago because he could no longer stand my constant need for reassurance (my compulsion). I also lost my middle adult daughter because they think I can just stop doing this or that I should pray harder. It's a very isolating disorder. I'm sorry you lost someone important to you. It sucks.
