Hello, everyone. I often find myself in battles with my thoughts and painful feelings. If any of you have discovered tools or strategies that have helped you cope, I would greatly appreciate your recommendations and insights.

I have found that worship music really helps me. I became a believer in God and Jesus in 2018 and it changed my life. I had bad anxiety and then went into a deep depression. Had to be put on a 5150, but I felt God leading me along with small signs and “coincidences” that led me to read the Bible. I read what Jesus said again and knew it was what God wanted me to know.

So listening to Christian music has really helped me. And depending on what kind of music you like, there’s generally a Christian artist that has that style. If you give me a couple names of musicians you like, I could send you a couple songs/artists I think you would like.

Fighting the fear is a compulsion, so try to not do that. Compulsions will prevent your OCD from getting better and can make it worse. What types of fears do you have?
